The purpose of the GovNext Benefits Realisation Framework is to assist agencies in standardising the approach to GovNext-ICT benefits realisation.
Whilst the scope of this document extends to GovNext projects or programs of work only, the guiding principles of Benefits Management are applicable across any project or program.
The Framework:
- can be used by agencies to improve measuring and reporting benefits
- provides agencies with consistent categories to track GovNext benefits
- offers a low to medium resource intensive method for agencies to report GovNext-ICT benefits
- when used by agencies, makes it easier for the Office of Digital Government (DGov) to report at a whole-of-government level
- is not a prescriptive model and can be adapted to agency reporting requirements.
